Choteau High School Rodeo May 2nd at 9 AM

The Snow Geese are just about done with their migration, and yesterday we saw a couple sand cranes flying over the park! The rodeo season is up and coming. May 2nd the Choteau High School/ Junior High Rodeo is starting at 9 AM on Saturday just down the block from us. This is free to the public. We are open if you'd like to come on up to Choteau for the weekend and catch a fun rodeo!

We saw a few Swans flying over the park. We're looking forward to getting down to Freezout Lake!

The Snow Geese Are Coming March 2026

Wild Wings is coming to Choteau March 20-22, 2026. You can go to the Wild Wings website for more information on local lectures, activities and tours at wildwingschoteau.org You can use our campground as your home base. Don't forget to bring your camera, and join us in welcoming these spectacular birds!

We'll be taking reservations for 2026 first week of January.

The Northern Lights were out the other night! This shot is just above the golf course to the north of the park. The days are getting shorter, and we're looking forward to seeing all of you this next summer. We'll be taking reservations for 2026 starting the first week of January. Talk to you soon!
